reconciliation finds its launch initiative prevenient This love of the merciful love of God does not give up before the refusal of man, but reveals his boundless deep into the saving will of God . He came to meet us in the person of Jesus and has made possible what was not only to our strengths: our reconciliation with God ...
The foreseeing love of God comes before our conversion in chronological order and makes it possible.
When our way of thinking about converting this initiative would exclude God's prevenient, it runs the risk of sounding a conquest of man, something that falls within its capabilities, which is within the sound of his freedom as he has turned away from God, so he can return to him. God would be limited to forgive the one who repent, turn to him.
imagining things this way, we fall back again in a legalistic conception of sin, reduced to little more than a debt, that God can freely forgive. In this case the role of God becomes quite secondary: I take the initiative to repent, then he takes notice and forgive me. Not so: God has the absolute initiative and all the way before my return to him. Even aware of the seriousness of my sin is only in the light of God's word that enlightens me and calls me to repentance. It is his merciful love he can win the suggestion of sin in me and got me back to myself and say will return to my Father (Luke 15:18).
All this is accomplished in Christ who is our reconciliation and our peace.
He is the Good Shepherd who seeks the lost sheep. The Church gives message of love prevenient to encourage and support the repentant sinner on the way back to God
