Psalm 50
When we speak of God's law, we must not think of a series of arbitrary commands with which he states his rule, but rather a series of signals about the way our human fulfillment. The commandments of God does not express so much his domain because its officials. Inside every commandment of God is writing this commandment: Be yourself. Carries out the possibilities of life that I gave you. I do not want much to you that your fullness of life and happiness. ...
This fullness of life and happiness is only realized in the love of God and neighbor. Now. God is wounded by human sin, because sin hurts the man he loves. He is wounded in his love, not in his honor.
But sin affects God not only disappoints because its love. God wants to weave a personal relationship with the man of love and life for man is everything: true fullness of life and joy. But sin is a rejection of this life-giving. The man, loved by God, free of charge, refuses to filial love the Father who so loved for him to give his only Son (Jn 3:16).
This is the most profound and mysterious reality of sin, which can only be understood in the light of faith. This refusal is the soul of sin in opposition to the body of sin which is the verifiable destruction of humanity that it produces. Sin is a disease that arises from human freedom and express themselves in a no This free love of God no (mortal sin) separates man from God that is the source of life and happiness.
